usopensquash.com Nearly two hundred guests came to Women in Sports Day to honor Alicia McConnell, the recipient of the US Squash President’s Cup during the 2015 Delaware Investments U.S. Open Squash Championships at Drexel University. Women in Sports Day began with an exciting squash practice at Drexel. A dozen girls from SquashSmarts, the Philadelphia urban squash program, trained with Drexel squash coach Kelsey Engman and PSA stars Jenny Duncalf, Dipika Pallikal and Donna Urquhart. National Doubles Draws Gallery For the ninth time in the tournament’s eighty-one years, Buffalo, New York, hosted the U.S. Squash Doubles Championships this weekend at the Buffalo Club, Buffalo Tennis & Squash Club, Computer Task Group and Saturn Club. Over two hundred family members and acquaintances honored the late Hashim Khan in a public memorial service Saturday, August 23, at the Denver Athletic Club—Khan’s home club of forty years. Tributes were paid by friends, family members, former pupils, Denver Athletic Club members, and Khan’s younger brother and only living sibling, Azam.
