Over two hundred family members and acquaintances honored the late Hashim Khan in a public memorial service Saturday, August 23, at the Denver Athletic Club—Khan’s home club of forty years.

Tributes were paid by friends, family members, former pupils, Denver Athletic Club members, and Khan’s younger brother and only living sibling, Azam.

Those unable to attend Khan’s memorial service may honor Hashim in donating to the Hashim Khan Foundation.

The Hashim Khan Foundation, for the past thirty years, has raised funds to support junior squash in Colorado. Activities supported have included subsidizing the costs of junior clinics twice per year, helping youngsters attend squash camps in the summer, supporting traveling teams on which a Colorado junior is playing, tournament sanctioning fees for junior draws, social events around tournaments attended by juniors, equipment for juniors, and contributions to Mile High Squash. The Hashim Khan Foundation has introduced hundreds of juniors to squash since its inception in 1984.
